‘Emotionally gripping and beautifully performed…’ (Dawn Geddes, Scots Magazine.)

Following our sell-out performances at Cymera Festival in June 2019, I’m thrilled to open The Audacious Women’s Festival 2020 with a new production of WITCHES’ GETS at The Scottish Storytelling Centre on 20th February. Our 8 p.m. show is already a sell-out but WE HAVE AN EXTRA MATINEE SHOW due to popular demand on 20th February at 4 p.m. with tickets still available. Full price is £10, concession £8, and groups over 5 or students buying in pairs can get tickets for £6 if they call the box office on 0131 556 9579 & quote STUDENTS’ GETS. WITCHES’ GETS is an ensemble piece with six women weaving dance, animation, film and spoken word into a narrative about the witch panic in Norway in 1662. It has been my passion project for several years since I lived in Norway and researched the witch trials on the tiny island of Vardø in the very far north of Norway. Want to know more about my research and writing on witch trials check out my blog: http://wheretheiceburns.blogspot.com/
